Ruth Poproski is the assistant director of faculty teaching and learning initiatives for the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). In this role, she develops and facilitates programming and initiatives for faculty, aiming to further enhance Georgia Tech’s pursuit of excellence in education. Ruth came to Georgia Tech from Carnegie Mellon University where she worked with graduate students and faculty in a similar role. She holds a master of science and a Ph.D. in logic, computation, and methodology, and a master of arts in philosophy. Ruth teaches courses in analytic philosophy, logic, and game theory, and is passionate about supporting good course design, teaching, and mentoring practices across campus. Prior to her return to school to pursue graduate degrees, Ruth worked as an associate pastor and developed programming and services for underprivileged teenagers and young adults.
