Congratulations on being selected by your College/School as the Outstanding Graduate Instructor of the Year, Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant of the Year, or Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Assistant of the Year. You are now qualified to participate in the campus-wide TA Award competition, which carries with it a $500 prize to the campus-wide winner in each of the three categories. We kindly invite you to complete this application form as a first step to participate in the campus-wide competition. The deadline has been extended. CTL must receive all application materials by Wednesday, March 11, 2020 at 11:59 p.m. Please direct all questions to Dr. Tammy M. McCoy at email@example.com.
When we use the word ‘teaching’ in this application, we mean any task or duty that involves grading, office hours, or lecture/lab/recitation instruction. Your duties performed as a teaching assistant are considered teaching. Many of these questions ask you to describe your teaching experiences. Some of you may have teaching experiences at other places; however, when you answer the questions in this application, please only describe your teaching experiences at Georgia Tech.
You can download a copy of these questions as a Word document or PDF. In addition, if you would like to know how your application will be judged, you may view the rubric used to judge your application.
