The application cycle for the 2022 CTL TA Awards competition opens Monday, February 7, 2022. Winners will be announced at the 6th Annual TA and Future Faculty Awards Day Ceremony, which will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 (4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.). Thank you for your interest.
Congratulations on being selected by your College/School as the Outstanding Graduate Student Instructor of the Year, Outstanding Graduate Teaching Assistant of the Year, or Outstanding Undergraduate Teaching Assistant of the Year. You are now qualified to participate in the institute-wide TA Award competition, which carries with it a $500 prize to the winners (three in each category). We kindly invite you to complete this application form as a first step to participate in the institute-wide competition. CTL must receive all application materials by Friday, February 25, 2022, at 11:59 p.m. Please direct all questions to Dr. Tammy M. McCoy tammy.mccoy@gatech.edu.
When we use the word ‘teaching’ in this application, we mean any task or duty that involves grading, office hours, lecture/lab/recitation instruction, or generally any other work in which you interact with a student in an academic manner. Your duties performed as a teaching assistant are considered teaching.
