Ameya Sawadkar, Ph.D.
Learning & Technology Specialist
Ameya Sawadkar works as a Learning and Technology specialist at the Center for Teaching and Learning. He has over five years of experience in higher education, primarily consulting on Learning Management Systems and classroom technology use and integration. Swadkar’s doctoral research examined how new faculty transition into their roles. At Georgia Tech, he helps faculty identify, evaluate, and implement learning technologies aligned with their pedagogical goals. His expertise includes accessibility, gamification, VR/AR for teaching, and other educational technologies. He also supports the Center with data analysis and evaluation.
