Vincent Spezzo, Ed.D.

Associate Director of AI, Online, and Emerging Digital Pedagogies

Vincent Spezzo is the associate director of AI, Online, and Emerging Digital Pedagogies in the Center for Teaching and Learning, where he provides leadership and support in the pedagogical integration of various emerging technologies, including Generative AI, and practices in online teaching and learning. With over 20 years of higher education experience, Spezzo has served in various roles including that of teaching faculty (both in person and online), instructional technology specialist, learning systems administrator, instructional design coordinator, and technology and pedagogy development facilitator. In his current role, he designs and facilitates faculty and TA development programming and resources, consults on online pedagogy, Generative AI, and educational technologies, and partners with stakeholders to pilot and scale solutions that improve digital student learning and success. He is the 2025 recipient of the Wagner Award for Distance Education Leadership and has served as an invited faculty mentor for the 2024 and 2025 AAC&U Institutes on AI, Pedagogy, and the Curriculum.
