Hyeyeon Lee
Postdoctoral Fellow

Hyeyeon Lee is a postdoctoral fellow at the Center for Teaching and Learning. In her current role, she works to translate educational research into practice across campus (i.e., how educational research informs teaching and classroom settings) and serves on the Center's evaluation and assessment committee. She earned her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and master’s in Educational Technology, and has over 10 years of experience in educational research. Her research lies at the intersection of cognitive and metacognitive aspects of self-regulated learning, learning from multiple and multimodal resources, and the design of technology-based learning environments. She adopts a learning analytics approach to unpack the complex processes of learning. Her collaborative work spans topics such as mental well-being, pedagogy in STEM education, and learning spaces. Her research has been published in Contemporary Educational Psychology, Learning and Individual Differences, and Educational Technology Research and Development.
