As part of a grant-supported effort under the Provost’s Teaching and Learning Initiatives, this symposium brings together educators from Georgia Tech and other institutions to explore the evolving landscape of teaching and research in the age of AI. Participants will discuss the integration of AI tools into the classroom, share best practices for leveraging AI in research, and reflect on the opportunities and challenges AI presents for higher education. This collaborative dialogue aims to inspire innovative approaches and foster cross-disciplinary connections in the academic community. The symposium aims to build best practices, discuss common challenges, and showcase innovative applications of AI in teaching and research.

This symposium serves as a platform for sharing best practices and fostering collaboration among educators to continuously improve course designs and ultimately benefit the students. By harnessing the power of AI in teaching, we can unlock even more potential for personalized learning, adaptive feedback, and data-driven insights. Let’s join forces to explore the endless possibilities AI offers in revolutionizing education and empowering students to thrive in the digital age.
