Chaohua Ou, Ed.D.
Assistant Director of Special Projects and Educational Initiatives

Chaohua Ou is the assistant director of special projects and educational initiatives for the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL). She currently devotes her time to working as the managing director at the National AI Institute for Adult Learning and Online Education (AI-ALOE), where she manages its research operations and coordinates the AI in education projects conducted by a large cross-disciplinary and cross-functional research team. Chaohua earned her M.Ed. and Ed.D. in instructional technology from Texas Tech University. Her research interests include learning design, multimedia learning, online learning, and open educational resources. Her projects have been supported by Affordable Learning Georgia, Provost Funds for Excellence in Graduate Education at Georgia Tech, and Georgia Tech Fund for Innovation in Research and Education.
