GTREET: Georgia Tech Retreat Exploring Effective Teaching

GTREET: Georgia Tech Retreat Exploring Effective Teaching

Friday, February 6, 2026

The Georgia Tech Retreat Exploring Effective Teaching is an opportunity for faculty across the Institute to gather and actively explore innovative ways to improving learning for Georgia Tech students.

This year’s GTREET is co-sponsored in collaboration with the Office of Community-Based Learning.

The retreat will explore transformative teaching and learning through a poster exhibition of community-based learning faculty projects, interactive faculty workshops, and a session focused on how to apply for the next round of Innovation Incubator grants.

Join us to hear from Georgia Tech colleagues using high impact teaching practices and develop your own plans for taking experiential learning into your classroom. If you have any questions, please contact Kate Williams, associate director of Transformative Teaching and Learning.
