Nominations are open for the 2025–26 Hesburgh Award Teaching Fellows Program, supporting faculty leaders in teaching. This year’s focus is Discipline-Based Education Research. Fellows will receive support to explore teaching and learning in their fields.
Call for Proposals: Teaching with Technology Partnerships
Proposals Due August 29
Do you have a teaching and learning problem that technology can help you solve? We're accepting Teaching with Technology Partnership proposals that explore creative technology uses or technological solutions to existing course struggles. Selected partners receive a year of hands-on guidance from CTL as they develop, implement, and assess new projects.
2025-2026 Innovation Incubator Grants Announced
The Transformative Teaching and Learning initiative is pleased to announce the third round of Innovation Incubator grants. Thirteen instructors representing eleven projects and eleven different schools received nearly $115,000 in funding. Innovation Incubator grants support the development, implementation, and evaluation of transformative teaching projects in undergraduate courses; the 2025-2026 cohort will focus on community-based learning, an educational approach that integrates classroom instruction with meaningful community engagement.
2025-2026 Undergraduate Sustainability Education Innovation Grants Awarded
CTL and the Sustainability Education and Curriculum Committee are pleased to announce the recipients of the fourth round of Undergraduate Sustainability Education Innovation grants; these awards are funded by Sustainability Next. Recipients from this round represent six colleges and 15 schools, with total support nearing $150,000. The grants aim to transform instruction using the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, which offer a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet.
