This mentoring series will support your professional and teaching development at Georgia Tech and beyond. These workshops are aimed at international graduate students and postdoctoral scholars.

The Center for Teaching and Learning is offering a workshop series to complement CETL 8802 (Special Topics in ITA Development): Building Mentor Relationships.  

This workshop series aims to empower international TAs [ITAs] as they build relationships with mentors and colleagues here at Georgia Tech and will include activities and discussions around managing relationships with your teaching mentorsdeveloping effective relationships with students, and opportunities to converse with fellow ITAs from institute-wide.  

This is an informal and completely optional workshop for any international TA; there are no pre-requisites. However, the content will be most relevant to international students who are new to being a TA or will be a TA in the near future. Whether you have taken CETL 8802 or not, you are free to attend one or all sessions.

There are four Thursday sessions in the series; each session is one hour-long.
