2023 Course Design Studio Registration

The annual Course Design Studio will be held in person in May and virtual (synchronous) in July. During the Studio, faculty will spend four days over two weeks working on preparing their 2023-24 courses. Each summer, instructors at Georgia Tech have the opportunity to design or redesign a course with expert guidance from Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) consultants and input from colleagues across campus. This year we offered two distinct experiences: participants can choose between an in person track and an online track.

In both tracks, participants will work through the backwards course design process to develop or redesign the goals, assessments and learning activities for their courses. They will use course design frameworks and structures to develop key elements of the course and begin to integrate them into a course schedule and syllabus. Along the way, they will have multiple opportunities to get feedback from a consultant from CTL and from Georgia Tech colleagues.
